An experienced graphic designer and video editor, Alesia enjoys creating and is currently working at Service Employees International Union on their national digital efforts.

My Story

Alesia Lucas is the Deputy Digital Director for The Service Employees International Union (SEIU). SEIU is a union of about 2 million diverse members in healthcare, the public sector and property services who believe in and fight for our Vision for a Just Society: where all workers are valued and all people respected—no matter where we come from or what color we are; where all families and communities can thrive; and where we leave a better and more equitable world for generations to come. Previously at SEIU, she was lead on the digital work to organize college faculty and graduate workers at US universities with Faculty Forward. Formerly the Digital Content Coordinator for Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families she led the campaign’s digital movement on reforming our nation’s broken toxic chemical legislation (TSCA). Alesia has worked for the U.S Department of State and The Center for Community Change. An experienced field and digital organizer Alesia is a DC native and part-time Eurovision video blogger.
